Introducing Immunity Boosting Detox Lymphatic Massage!
Manual Lymphatic Drainage will boost your immune system by removing excess fluid and thus avoiding toxic stagnation.
The treatment is gentle, rhythmic and deeply relaxing. You’ll immediately notice brighter, firmer skin and a reduction of puffiness all over.
What is Manual Lymphatic Drainage?
Manual lymph drainage is a form of very light massage that encourages lymph flow in the body. It is particularly good for detoxification, edema, pre- and post surgery. It can also help with cellulite treatments, scar tissue, eczema, sinus congestion and acne.
The lymph system is a slow-moving system of vessels and lymph nodes that is supplementary to the body’s system of blood circulation. The lymph system carries away excess water, cellular waste, bacteria, viruses and toxins.
Our lymphatic massage stimulates the lymph system with extremely light, circular pumping movement to help drain puffy, swollen tissues, to support the body’s immune system, helping the body heal from surgery, and assisting in natural waste removal, decongestion and detoxification.
The lymphatic system is located directly beneath the skin, so the pumping, circular movements are very light. Manual lymph drainage generally has a soothing, relaxing effect. It can be used as part of a facial, at the end of your favorite treatments, or by itself as a deep system cleanse.
Lymphatic Drainage after Surgery
Lymphatic drainage is highly recommended after any type of surgery. The lymphatic system is our body’s way of moving fluids and toxins out of the body. Many surgeons will prescribe this type of treatment for faster and easier recovery.
We offer a special Post Op Healing Massage that works even better than lymphatic massage by itself. It combines lymphatic drainage with microcurrent stimulation. Clients have found that it:
- Heals the scar faster (includes keloid treatment)
- Reduces scar tissue.
- Removes and breaks down lumps caused by fluid build up.
- Prevents and treats fibrosis
